Software testability is a misunderstood technology by most of the software test ing community Most testing experts believe that software testability is either a measure of complexity or a subjective assessment of how much it will cost to gen erate test cases perform coverage testing write drivers and or stubs etc This perspective is incomplete In the late s an alternative perspective on testa bility was proposed that attempted to answer the following question what is the probability that a program cannot fail even if it is incorrect This suggestion was in sharp contrast to the age old reliability question what is the probability that a program will fail and many experts failed to immediately pick up on the subtle di erence The di erence represented a paradigm shift for software testing research and provided new avenues for research that have already yielded unex pected bene ts This paper focuses on one of those bene ts deciding where to ASSERT and inspect code

One of the hottest research areas in recent years is detecting network intrusion patterns in computer networks. Because of dynamic nature of intrusion patterns in networks, intelligently inspecting the behavior of networks and detecting anomalies are mostly desirable. KDD-Cup99 pattern database are used as a standard source of network packets in our research. K-mean, Bayesian method and Support...

Adding New Bi-Asserting Clauses for Faster Search in Modern SAT Solvers

In this paper, a new approach for clauses learning is proposed. By traversing the implication graph separately from x and ¬x, we derive a new class of biasserting clauses that can lead to a more compact implication graph. These new kinds of bi-asserting clauses are much shorter and tend to induce more implications than the classical bi-asserting clauses. Experimental results show that exploitin...
